Serving at St. Brendan’s
The St. Brendan’s community serves one another through a variety of regular activities that help support our community in worship, growth, and support. Godly Play & Nursery
In order to offer children a safe and developmentally appropriate worship experience (and parents a little service break) we offer Godly Play for children ages 3 - 12 and a Nursery for those 3 and under. We encourage those who are gifted in serving children to inquire for the next training. All Godly Play & Nursery volunteers undergo a background check and training before participating with our children.
Worship
If you have musical inclinations and interests - whether you play an instrument or are a gifted singer - St. Brendan’s welcomes your participation with our worship team. Depending on the season and need this may include joining a small choir, providing support during special services, or helping to lead our weekly worship services.
Sound Board
St. Brendan’s sound board is a simple set of controls that ensure a quality worship experience where speakers and musicians can be heard and responded to during services. Don’t be intimidated by the technology. If you can run your smartphone, you can handle our sound board and provide an integral service during worship.
Hospitality
The Hospitality team offers their gifts by helping to coordinate, decorate, and serve meals for special community events. If you love to welcome people, decorate gathering spaces, or coordinate events, you’d be an especially good fit for the Hospitality team.
Prayer
The Prayer team is available to pray for people after our worship services and schedules special prayer events throughout the year. The prayer team is also available for prayer requests and for individual prayer ministry.
